In Dreams

In dreams unseen our hearts do wonder

Like footprints in the sand, they shift and change with every whim.

Give light to your dreams and lean not on your own understanding

For a city left in darkness cannot flourish.

When strength has left and understanding is a memory

Give God your dreams, give Him your burdens

For God alone will be your light, He will never leave you to wonder alone.

Give light to your dreams and lean not on your own understanding.

As darkness fades to light his face will ever be seen.

For God alone is the rock for which I stand

My hope is in him, for His hope is my hope

A path unseen until its time, His path is my path

A dream above dreams, a love beyond measure

God holds your heart, he holds it in his heart

In the dreams unseen, is glimpse of the greatness of his love, yet to be discovered.

You were there...

You were there

Though I wandered away

You were there

When I lost my way

You called my name

But I did not answer

You called my name

I looked away

You stayed

I left

You stayed

I felt the pain

You saw my pain

I couldn’t move

You saw my pain

I had to make a choice

You called my name

I answered back

You called my name

I knew I would never be the same

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their own dreams" --Eleanor Roosevelt

Simple Truths to live by...

"God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world."— C.S. Lewis

Here's what I think God is saying to me through Gayle's life:

Take time to study your Bible every morning. You never know what day may be your last.
Trust that God will give you just the words that you need for whatever today brings.
Share your faith in God with others, especially when you don't feel like it.
Be yourself instead of what other people expect you to be.
Then turn around and ask them how you can be an encouragement.
Walk miles in the rain to help someone else—arrive at their door with a smile.
When it begins to rain, go outside and do cartwheels.
Take risks emotionally, intellectually and spiritually.
Tell your friends how much you need them.
Show God how much you love him.
It gives me great comfort to know that Gayle is laughing, singing and living with wild abandon—her heart running free—in the presence of Jesus. — Psalm 119:32

A day all will remember

Lives were lost, but lives were spared.

Those who were lost, were somehow found

Lives torn apart, no one knew why

Holding out hope that all would be fine.

Faith was challenged beyond compare

For this was a day no one thought would come

A mission meant to bring us to our knees,

Did just that as we began to pray

Prayers rang out both near and far

And the day all will remember

Is the day we became one.

A mission now clear

One Nation, Under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all

In tribute to those who fight for our freedom each and every day! and to the everlasting memory of the day that changed it all...

Chances

When I wake in the morning,
Your face I long to see...
My heart belongs to you
Given to you forever, completely and truly...
A dream come true
Two hearts now one
My dreams are captivated by the idea of you
Who are you? When will I meet you?
You are the love of my life
You hold my heart in you hand
When I wake I wish to meet you
To have my heart completed by a chance encounter
